Betty White Voted as America’s Favorite Celebrity

Our favorite funny-woman Betty White has been voted as America’s Favorite and Most trusted celebrity by a Reuters/ Ipsos poll of 2,012 American celebrities. The former “Golden Girls” star managed to beat Kate Middleton, Paris Hilton, Sandra Bullock, Tom Hanks, Britney Spears, Harrison Ford, Morgan, Will Smith, Johnny Depp and Charlie Sheen as an individual “whose endorsement of a company would be most likely to drive business.”

White, born in Oak Park, Ill., on January 17, 1922 is currently starring in TV Land’s “Hot in Cleveland.”

The 89-year-old was named as the Associated Press Entertainer of the Year 2011. She even won an Emmy Award last year for her comical performance in Saturday Night Live hosting show. I loved her side-splitting act in the Snickers commercial. Her famous, funny, movie roles including Bringing down the house, The Golden Girls, and The Proposal are all applause worthy. She began her career on L.A. radio in the 1940s. She will be devilishly appearing in the NBC prank show Betty White’s Off Their Rockers? this fall.

Her constant witty and hilarious acting has won her America’s love and trust and made her America’s Favorite Celebrity today.
